Australian Rugby insurance must take a hard look good in itself. The results in recent years on the international scene have been poor to say the least.

In 2006, the mighty Wallabies formally dismal against some of the world's lowest ranked teams in the northern hemisphere.

New coach John Connolly, who took over from Edie removal from Australia coach Jones has managed to reproduce the same results depressing doing more of the same.

It was clear to Wallabies many fanatical followers, that whenever he had thrown the game away and buy in the reserves and Matt Rogers, the team really got up and started scoring.

Why did not the coaching staff picked up on this is incredible, after all your time trying the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is surly a form of madness.

The team always manages to play so bad or as good as the opposition he faces. If you are playing teams like the All Blacks or South Africa, brings out the best and the result, though not always for the Wallabies, at least respectable. Put the team competition against less formidable, like Ireland, usually results in the Wallabies was issued and not follow a game plan, apart from the other team to gain confidence and, finally, take away freedom of belief team.

History Past The Wallabies' in the modern era the game has been impressive. Competing in the five Rugby World Cups of the Union, the team won World Cup twice, in 1991 and 1999 and lost in the final in extra time to England in 2003.

Rugby in Australia has always held a great place to his cousin's rugby league. This could have been broken when rugby league went through the turmoil in the '90s when the code started opposite Super League. After this, Rugby League follower was fragmented and its base was shaky.

Why not capitalize on this the ARU and invest in strong campaigns to convert these fans valuable?

To think that you can do is naive to say the least. Just look at the rise and rise of Australian Rules football (AFL) in what was a state Rugby League stronghold, Queensland.

So what is needed at the ARU to get the results you deserve surly?

1. Do not bring a coach which has not produced results. The Queensland Reds finished a dismal 12th in the Super 14 competition in 2006 under the eye of Connolly. How can I do better with Wallabies?

2. Do not put players into unnatural positions. Natural game player shines through allowing them to do what they do best.

3. Practice while playing. All Wallabies are being rested from Super 14 matches to save them from the 2007 World Cup and in the past have trained at half pace avoid injury. Practice as you play or will play as usual practices.

4. It removes the stigma that is Rugby Union for wimps toffee nose. In New Zealand everyone plays by the Union, rich, poor, black or white.

5. Get Rugby Union outdoor television. Even if the delay is coverage.

6. Convert New Zealand supporters to supporters in Australia. There are approximately 1 million New Zealanders living in Australia and I would bet that most still follow their teams from New Zealand.

The Wallabies a big game, when they believe in themselves, only need the support of the trainers, Aru and the public Australian and can pull another Rugby World Cup in the bag.
