  1. Exactly 5 points, fair play. You're some man for one man Gareth. Love your work

  2. Congrats on the viewing milestone and the prediction. Gonna be one almighty game in Sydney. Ireland to secure a series win there…

  3. 73% possession a good win but we can score a lot more against a poor Aussie team

  4. Well Gareth I hope you bet on your Ireland by 5 prediction! 26-21! You were right on the button! Well done and I am a VERY happy Kiwi! Another nail in the Cheika coffin!

  5. Let's hope you're right about the outcome of this one,Gareth. I'm a Munster man, from Alan Quinlan and Donncha Ryan's home county of Tipperary, but I've always been a huge admirer of Michael Cheika since his days as Leinster head coach (He laid much of the groundwork for his successor, Joe Schmidt's successful tenure there, which ultimately led to Joe's appointment as Ireland's head coach)

I would've been surprised if we'd won the opening game in this series, and even though Australia upped their game considerably I would expect us to win this one (your 5 point winning margin sounds fair enough to me, and I'd happily settle for that.)

It's great news that Keith Earls has been passed to play as he's been on fire this past 12 months, playing the best rugby of his career, but I'd keep an eye out, also, for Andrew Conway, who's had a huge season for Munster, and is as dynamic a back in his own way as Earlsy.

A great Leinster favourite of mine is Dan Leavy, who just exploded onto the scene in the past six months, after previously being just one of many scrapping for a starting back-row slot on that all-conquering Leinster team. and I'm looking forward to his tussles with Hooper-Pocock, as well as perhaps galvanising Cap'n Pete to greater heights.

btw, I've been telling my brother since the early days of his tenure that I'm expectting great things from Munster's latest Springbok Head Coach, Johann, who could prove to be Munster's Joe to Rassie's Cheika.

Keep up the good work, young man!
